The UK's Labour government has committed to increasing cooperation with EU and Middle Eastern countries to combat the influx of undocumented migrants into the country. This move comes after the previous Conservative government's plan to send migrants to Rwanda was scrapped, leaving a gap in policy on the issue. The Labour administration has yet to unveil its own comprehensive plan to address the problem. In the meantime, the Home Office has allocated $100m to bolster border security and counter human trafficking groups that smuggle undocumented immigrants into the UK.
